Pronunciation
Verse 1: A-lam tara kay-fa fa-'a-la rab-buka bi as-haa-bil-feel
Verse 2: A-lam yaj'-al kay-da-hum fee tad leel
Verse 3: Wa ar-sala 'a-lay-him taiy-ran a-baa-beel
Verse 4: Tar mee-him bi hi jaa-ra-tim-min sij jeel
Verse 5: Fa-ja 'a-la-hum ka'as-fim-m'a kool
Translation
Verse 1: Have you not considered, [O Muhammad], how your Lord dealt with the companions of the elephant?
Verse 2: Did He not make their plan into misguidance?
Verse 3: And He sent against them birds in flocks,
Verse 4: Striking them with stones of hard clay,
Verse 5: And He made them like eaten straw.
