Verse 1: Wad-duhaa
Verse 2: Wal-laiy-li i-zaa sa-jaa
Verse 3: Ma wad-da 'a-ka rab-buka wa ma qa-laa
Verse 4: Wa-lal-aa-khi-ratu khaiy-rul-laka mi-nal-oo-la
Verse 5: Wa la saw-fa y'u-tee-ka rab-buka fa-tar-da
Verse 6: A-lam ya-jid-ka ya-tee-man fa aa-waa
Verse 7: Wa wa jadaka daaal-lan fa-ha-daa
Verse 8: Wa wa jadaka 'aaa-i-lan fa agh-naa
Verse 9: Fa am-mal ya-tee-ma fala taq-har
Verse 10: Wa am-mas-saaa-i-la fa-la tan-har
Verse 11: Wa am-ma bi-ni'-mati rab-bika fa-had-dith
Translation
Verse 1: By the morning brightness
Verse 2: And [by] the night when it covers with darkness,
Verse 3: Your Lord has not taken leave of you, [O Muhammad], nor has He detested [you].
Verse 4: And the Hereafter is better for you than the first [life].
Verse 5: And your Lord is going to give you, and you will be satisfied.
Verse 6: Did He not find you an orphan and give [you] refuge?
Verse 7: And He found you lost and guided [you],
Verse 8: And He found you poor and made [you] self-sufficient.
Verse 9: So as for the orphan, do not oppress [him].
Verse 10: And as for the petitioner, do not repel [him].
Verse 11: But as for the favor of your Lord, report [it].
