Pronunciation: Allahumma Sal-li Aa laa Muhammadi nin Na-biy-yil Um-miyyi wa Aa laa Aa li-hi wa-sal-lim Taslee-maa
Meaning: O Allah shower your mercy upon Muhammad (peace be upon him), the unlettered Prophet, and upon his family and grant them best of peace
Virtue: Anas ibn Malik narrates that Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam (Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon him) said : He who reads a single Durood upon me, Almighty Allah blesses him ten times, ten of his sins are forgiven, and he is increased ten times in stages. (Sunan an-Nasa'i 1297; Book 13, Hadith 119)
