Pronunciation: Wa la-nab-lu-wan-na-koom bi-shai'im-mi-nal-khaw-fi wal-joo'i wa naq-sim-mi-nal am-waa-li wal-an-fu-si wass sa-maraat, wa bash-shi-ris-saa-bi-reen. Al-la-zee-na i-zaaa a-saa-bat-hoom-mu-see-ba-toon qaa-looo in-naa lil-laa-hi wa in-naaa i-lai-hi raaji'oon. U-laaa'ika 'a-lai-him sa-la-waa-toom-mir-rab-bi-him wa rah-mah, wa u-laaa'ika hu-mul-muh-ta-doon.
Meaning: And We will surely test you with something of fear and hunger and a loss of wealth and lives and fruits, but give good tidings to the patient, Who, when disaster strikes them, say, "Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return." Those are the ones upon whom are blessings from their Lord and mercy. And it is those who are the [rightly] guided.
