Verse 1: Wat-teeni waz-zaiy-toon
Verse 2: Wa to-ori sineen
Verse 3: Wa haa-zal ba-la-dil a-meen
Verse 4: La-qad kha-laq-nal in-saa-na feee ah-sani taq-weem
Verse 5: Thum-ma ra dad naa-hu as-fala saa-fileen
Verse 6: Ill-lal-la-zeena aa-ma-noo wa 'a-mi-lus-saa-li-haati fa-la-hum aj-roon ghaiy-ru mam-noon
Verse 7: Fa-ma yu-kaz-zi-buka b'a-du bid-deen
Verse 8: A-lai sal-laa-hu bi-ah-ka-mil haa-kimeen
Translation
Verse 1: By the fig and the olive
Verse 2: And [by] Mount Sinai
Verse 3: And [by] this secure city [Makkah],
Verse 4: We have certainly created man in the best of stature;
Verse 5: Then We return him to the lowest of the low,
Verse 6: Except for those who believe and do righteous deeds, for they will have a reward uninterrupted.
Verse 7: So what yet causes you to deny the Recompense?
Verse 8: Is not Allah the most just of judges?
